The back with barley twist top and side supports and turned finials to the top.
Acanthus leaf hand rests and barley twist arm supports.
Raised on a pair of barley twist turned front legs and swept back legs with brass castors.
The back, seat and arms are upholstered with the original horsehair with a new calico cover ready for a top fabric.
English circa 1840
Some losses and wear to the gilt and gesso, but restored to be stable.
